After a great week in Zurich, I am now back in Milano. Here, my days consist of: school, aperitivo with the girls, King's Pub, the occasional club and my daily breakfast of brioche and capuccio. This tradition of eating nothing but a small croissant (filled with honey or topped with sugar) and a very foamy capuccino every morning, is something that I can definitely get used to, even if I am starving an hour later. It's simple, delicious, quick and surprisingly a good energy booster. It is of course common knowledge that Italians have one of the best cuisines, and so it is no surprise that I have been following a purely Italian diet ever since I moved here. One would think, Italian food = carbs = fat... but actually, real Italian food is very healthy and always made with fresh ingredients, not to mention, always served in small portions so no one can ever over-eat.
